The weBoost 472120 Home Room cell phone signal booster has been designed to provide the best possible cellular reception in a room or office. Stay connected with a stronger cell signal, and experience fewer dropped calls, undelivered texts, and missed email messages. Using Wilson Electronics' patented technology, the Home Room receives the outside cell signal, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it inside the room. This allows you to stay connected in areas where cell service is poor, or where your home's building materials interfere with signals from the local cell tower. The weBoost Home Room works with all major wireless carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most others.
The Home Room is designed to amplify cellular transmissions inside a single small room or office.
The amount of square footage it covers depends on the strength of the signal it receives from the cell tower. In general, the stronger the outside cell signal, the greater the interior broadcast distance.

The Home Room phone signal booster system is made up of four major components:
The cell phone signal booster—sometimes called an amplifier—is the core component of the system.
The booster is bi-directional: It amplifies both the signal your phone receives from the tower and the signal your phone sends to the tower. A weak cell signal is received by the outside antenna and amplified by the booster; the strengthened signal is then rebroadcast by the inside antenna to your phone. The amplifier also boosts the connection back to the cell tower.
A high-quality weBoost booster from Wilson Electronics has very high receiver sensitivity, meaning it can process a weaker cell signal than your phone by itself. There still has to be some cell signal for the booster to amplify, though (it cannot "multiply zero").
You should place your Home Room booster in the room where you wish to receive stronger cell phone signal. The location you choose for the booster needs to have a 110-volt AC wall outlet within 6 feet for the power supply.
The outside antenna communicates with your wireless carrier's cell tower. This antenna is directional, meaning it needs to be pointed toward the strongest cell tower near your home. For example, if the cell phone tower is north of your home, mount the antenna pointing north, away from the building.
The Home Room kit includes hardware to mount the outside antenna on the inside of your home's window (good), on an exterior wall (better), or on your roof (best). The window mount is accomplished using suction cups and a tray that holds the antenna in place. The wall mount is completed using a bracket that you'll screw into an outside wall. The roof mount requires a 1.5"–2.0" pole (the mounting hardware is included; if you need a pole, we carry the Wilson 901117 and a adjustable mount, both sold separately).
The outside antenna needs to be placed with enough separation from the inside antenna(s), otherwise the outside and inside antennas may conflict with each other (a condition known as oscillation), which will cause the amplifier to shut itself off.
The inside antenna communicates with cell phones in the room. It is a directional panel antenna that broadcasts its signal forward, away from the antenna, in a cone shape. It can be placed on any flat surface.
Point the inside antenna toward the location where you will be using your cell phone(s).
Two 30-foot lengths of RG6 cable connect the outside antenna to the booster. You may use one or both cables, depending on your setup needs. For long runs, connect the two cables using the barrel F connector. To run under a window, connect the two cables using the 8-inch jumper cable. Keep in mind that the longer the cable run, the more signal loss (attenuation) and the less amplified signal your Home Room will be able produce; always use the least amount of cable possible when setting up your system.
The inside antenna connects to the booster with an attached 5-foot run of RG174 coax cable with an SMA connector.

Warranty InformationweBoost signal boosters and kits are warranted for two (2) years against defects in workmanship and/or materials. Warranty cases may be resolved by returning the product directly to the reseller with a dated proof of purchase. See reseller warranty procedures. Signal boosters and kits may also be returned directly to the manufacturer at the consumer's expense, with a dated proof of purchase and a returned material authorization (RMA) number supplied by weBoost. weBoost shall, at its option, either repair or replace the product. weBoost will pay for delivery of the repaired or replaced product back to the original consumer if located within the continental U.S. This warranty does not apply to any signal boosters or kits determined by weBoost to have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, or mishandling that alters or damages physical or electronic properties. Failure to use a surge-protected AC power strip with at least a 1000 Joule rating will void your warranty. All weBoost products that are packaged with other weBoost accessory products are intended for resale and use as a single unit, and such product kits are required to be sold to the end user or subsequent reseller as packaged. The "de-kitting" and sale as a standalone product of any one or more components of such a product kit is in violation of weBoost's warranty. No "de-kitted" product will be eligible for return for any reason. The sale of separate, not-kitted cable, antennas, and other accessories is allowed and fully warranted.
